Waist
Training & Daily Use

DAILY
USE
Simply wearing a corset will provide a streamlined
silhouette and offer waist reduction. However, once the
corset comes off, you will return to your natural shape.
As in the waist training process, the inherit effect of
constriction on the digestive system will limit food
intake, thus promoting weight loss. If more permanent
results are desired, waist training is the next step.
Underbust styles are recommended for daily use as outer or
under wear. However, overbust styles may also be worn.
Avoid long line styles covering the full hip, and/or
peaked bottoms, as they are not comfortable to sit in.
WAIST TRAINING
Waist training is a gradual process which cannot be
rushed. It may take several corset sizes and many months
to years to achieve a desired goal. With this in mind, we
do not recommend ordering fancy, expensive styles for this
process, unless you have a large monetary budget, or you
have reached your desired goal and wish to continue use.
For effective results, it is very important one follows a
healthy diet and exercise regimen, along with the daily
waist training regimen. The amount of time it takes to
reach a desired goal will vary from wearer to wearer, and
primarily depends on how disciplined one is during the
waist training process.
FIRST THINGS FIRST...
Before you begin the waist training process, it is very
important an appropriate corset style is selected and the
corset of choice has been properly broken in. Lacing a new
corset tightly, before it has been properly broken in can
damage the garment by splitting seams and tearing fabric.
An underbust style cut higher on the hips, primarily
focusing on the waist is recommended for the waist
training process. Overbust styles are not suitable and are
not recommended for use in this process.
READY, SET, GO!
Start by wearing the corset 4-5 hours a day, or as is
comfortable, gradually increasing the hours per day, and
the tightness of the laces. As you wear a corset throughout
the day, movement may cause the lacing to loosen. Adjust
the lacing tightness as needed.
After a month or two of wearing the corset completely
closed, downsizing to the next smallest size is suggested.
Keep in mind, flesh has give, bones do not. You may not be
able to cinch a corset completely closed from top to
bottom.
It is not recommended to sleep in the corset, as this puts
added stress on the garment, thus shortening the life
span. Do so at your own risk. To continue the process
during sleep, a tight fitting foundation or shape-wear
type garment is recommended.
It is always recommended one speaks with their physician
before use in the waist training process, especially if
there are any underlying health issues or concerns. This
process may not be suitable for everyone.
With proper corset selection, healthy diet and exercise,
along with discipline and the desire to reach your goal,
you are on your on your way!
